Fort Ancient State Memorial

Fort Ancient is the site of the second largest Indian burial mound site in the nation. The fort-like walls of stone and clay were constructed between 300 B.C. and 600 A.D. by the Hopewell People. United States Air Force Museum

Wright Patterson Airforce base in Dayton boasts the US Air Force Museum. The museum chronicals the history of flight showcasing aircraft including the 1909 Wright flyer as well as modern and space vehicles. The museum is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free. Website >

Cincinnati Zoo

This 75 acre park and botanical garden is only minutes away off I-75. Opened in 1875, the Cincinnati Zoo is now ranked among the top zoos in the country with over 500 animal species and over 3,000 plant varieties.
